How to remove the restriction on VPN connection through an Asus router?

A VPN connection has been set up in the office for remote work with devices. But for some reason, the home Internet "cuts" and does not allow you to connect, for example, to the server via SSH. Ping to the server responds with a timeout.
All would be fine and questions, I would ask the VPN settings in the office, but from other places the connection is established successfully and the same SSH works.
At home, the operator is Rostelecom, and the Asus RT-68 router is on standard settings.

Can you connect to VPN in the office from home?
If so, what is blocked then? If not, what type of vpn?
Try to do l2tp + ipsec
Or, against telecom, openvpn helped me)

Connect the PC directly to the provider's wire and test: the provider is to blame or the router.
