Nginx expires last-modified how to configure?
I want to understand how expires and last-modified work in nginx
. In my ispmanger settings in the nginx expires section, 360 days are set.
Let's say I change the contents of the js file and upload it to the site again, site visitors will download a new version of the file or not, the cache will be 360 days interfere or last-modified will save?
Here is an example
cache-control header: max-age=31536000
content-encoding: gzip
content-type: application/javascript; charset=UTF-8
date: Sat, 10 Apr 2021 09:21:15 GMT
etag: W/"60715fd8-2c390"
expires: Sun, 10 Apr 2022 09:21:15 GMT
last-modified: Sat, 10 Apr 2021 08 :20:40 GMT
server: nginx
strict-transport-security: max-age=31536000;
