Most likely you damaged the tracks on the board.

This is either a defect in the tracks on the motherboard. Or you are screwing too hard, you could damage it. The motherboard MUST NOT bend!!! Are you attaching the cooler correctly? Are there legs (spacers) between the board and the case? Do the metal parts touch the cooling of the PC case?
