Network topology and configuration for CIsco VoiP ( CME router + L3 switch)?
Good afternoon!
I am a student and I am doing such a project related to IP telephony based on Cisco solutions.
Attached is a logical topology for a small business. The crux of the problem is that CCNA Voice tutorials suggest a "router on the stick" configuration for routing data and voice traffic via VLan(Data and Voice ) technology. It turns out that the router, a universal fighter, does everything and stands at the edge of the network, and also deals with telephony and VLan routes. I would like to use L3 switch for the purposes of Inter Vlan Routing, but I can’t find such a configuration anywhere so that the switch routes Vlans, Voice Vlan still reaches the router that serviced calls within the enterprise. In general, is this possible and have I not been wiser, maybe the router is a stick still practical?
Thanks
