Need Hyper-threading support on motherboards?

Actually here:
Processor
We found several motherboards, the question arose because of this technology.
Will it give an increase in at least something or useless garbage? If it does, is it significant?
The processor has 4 cores, 4 threads, and with the mother it will be like threads?
If so, is it the same as the i7?

Support for hyperthreading in the motherboard is not needed.
The increase gives 25 percent.
Processor by reference - without hyperthreading.

Acceleration depends on the load profile, in some situations it gave me + 50% performance, and in some it was close to 100%.
But for most tasks somewhere around 20-30%.
If you choose a computer for your home, then it is better to take it with HT, even 20-30% of performance is not superfluous. If you want to save money, it's your business, of course, but I do not advise. Again, you will be the loser, because. most processors support this feature.
If you want to write some kind of low-latency software, then you can always disable hyper-threading in bios and get physical cores.
