Need help from motherboard owners with Marvell 88E8053 network card
Good afternoon, hackers!
There is an ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe motherboard.
In any OS and applications, the built-in network card Marvell 88E8053 mac address is defined only as 00:00:00:00:00:00 + the name of the network model has changed to Marvell 88E805 2
As a result, without shamanism, the network refuses to work.
On the forums, we managed to dig up that the EEPROM (firmware) of the network card has flown due to a power failure. This is treated by pouring the original EEPROM using Marvell's proprietary DOS utility yukonvpd.exe.
Request to all owners of such a network card - share EEPROM.
yukonvpd.exe can be found here .
How to copy the firmware:
Boot into DOS (eg using Hiren's boot cd and floppy disk).
Run yukonvpd -R save.raw (from a FAT32 flash drive or floppy disk).
Send the save.raw file to me by e-mail.
Thanks in advance.
PS mac address of your network will not be used in any way, because. I have kept the original. You can also change your mac address in EEPROM in any HEX editor (for example WinHEX) and only then share the firmware.
