Need help buying an Android device

Hello to all habrausers!
Now I decided to part with my Nokia e-series phone, which has served me faithfully for almost three years, and, in connection with the recent events with Symbian, I decided to change the brand of the phone and, accordingly, the platform. After some deliberation, I chose Android (WebOS was not very impressive, iOS is expensive in the form of iPhone4, Bada will not work, because the negative experience of using Samsung by all family members (there were 4 phones, everyone was very angry, now hostility remains)). Regarding devices, the choice fell on HTC Desire , HTC Desire Z , Acer Liquid E , Motorola Milestone XT720 , Acer Liquid Metal. The company, of course, is a bit motley, but after analyzing all the devices, I settled on these and start from them.
Two main questions
one). What are the device requirements? First of all - comfortable work with the Internet (especially sets of voluminous texts - here, of course, Desire Z is out of competition), adequate viewing of documents (text, spreadsheet, pdf and other similar ones), good sound of both speakers and headsets, high-quality screen, including for watching videos (all kinds of videos on Vkontakte are included); in the second place - a minimum of steam room for setting up - that is, the better the office and audio-video software, the better. I don’t want to hang around in the market, scouring for and testing applications, a minimum of brakes, no vendor amnesia to launch updates (otherwise, I know that even now during Android 2.3, there are devices with 1.6, moreover, the vendor is not even going to update them to at least would be 2.1), the interface is not overloaded with a bunch of rubbish and whistling fakes (this is a word about shells).
In short, performance + functionality + operating time + relative strength of the case = the most successful device in terms of these characteristics

2). And a question about prices. I don’t want to bathe with an order from abroad (although if there are convenient and fast sources, I will be glad to receive information), therefore, without further ado, I went to Yandex Market and fell a little into a stupor. Let's take, for example, HTC Desire , so its price varies from 14,000 to 24,000. What causes such a spread? And does it make sense to buy in stores where prices are about 14-15 thousand? For example, in this one .

And I will advise you to go to a specialized resource, for example w3bsit3-dns.com and study the forum threads for the selected models. Of course, a long time, a lot of information, etc. but for that you will be fully armed with information and the device will not throw you an unpleasant surprise at the most inopportune moment.

I advise you to look at prices at price.ru:

1) Personally, I am completely satisfied with Desire. They say that Androyd 3.0 will be on it, since including a 1Hz processor. Desire is very durable in my opinion - I dropped it on asphalt 2 times with my height of 1.90 - the result is small scratches on the case, the display was not damaged at all. Runtime is let down, but there is an extended battery. Shell HTC Sense - great. Work with the Internet, video and PDF - on top. Very good screen. I don't complain about the sound. Typing is nice too. Satisfied with the purchase as an elephant to this day. I played the HTC Desire HD in my hands — my opinion is that 4.3 is already a lot for a phone, but the large display has its pluses.
2) Scatter cent because some of the phones are gray, they did not pass RosTest - they do not have an official HTC warranty in Russia. Bought Desire from this store. They immediately said - without RosTest. One year warranty and one year free repair (components at your expense). A friend in the same store was sold the Arabic version of Desire: a couple of applications in Arabic that are not deleted, Androyd is not updated. He did not reinstall Androyd, he lives like this. This is his right. So be careful.

I will not advise, I can only say about the store at your link:
I took HTC HD2 there 3 times, all 3 phones work fine.
I also took HTC Topaz there.
My personal advice: take HD2. Here is the choice of OS, fairly modern hardware and a huge comunity.
By the way, I twisted Desire HD in my hands. He seemed flawed to me. Honestly.

At one time I took Acer Liquid, I was satisfied.
Of the minuses - poor sound, both in the speakers and in the headset. It is treated by buying a normal headset and installing custom firmware with other sound firewood.
The battery is weak.
Liquid E is not far from its predecessor, I advise you to take Metal. Everything is in order with the battery, the processor is better than in previous models.
What he has about the speakers - do not know.
As for strength, my liquidity can withstand all bullying. I use it without a film and constantly drop it. There are few scratches on the screen, if you don’t look closely, I don’t notice. No damage is visible on the hull.
Unless liquid metal has stepped back in something else, which I doubt, then it will suit you.
Now I have some custom firmware 2.2 on my liquid, if you are going to reflash for something more flexible than the standard firmware, then the liquid community is quite large, there is always a choice.

Take a closer look at Motorola Defy - though you still have to order it, but it has a “zest” - fire and moisture protection + new batches come without a speaker marriage and immediately with Android2. I agree that it is best to visit special resources first, the same w3bsit3-dns.com or motofan. I would personally choose from Desire, XT720, Defy - but I really like the latter

If typing is so important, then only desire z.
If you look at it as a whole, both htc and motorola have comfortable work out of the box, I don’t know about the acer. according to the set of parameters, I would take the milestone xt720. in principle, I'm just going to buy it)
about the price range. I have prices in the city from the lower limit (as a rule)

>>Motorola Milestone XT720
Not worth it.
The main reason is a small amount of memory (256MB), this amount is generally not enough for anything.
The second reason is that there is only 2.1, there is 2.3 from fjfalcon, but it is not stable.
