MustHave plugins for wordpress?

Hello! Having started my acquaintance with WordPress, I was faced with the fact that there is simply an abundance of different plugins, including very similar ones.
I would like to hear the opinion of people with experience with WP, is there some kind of MustHave set of plugins?

Let's first define your role and your goals.
If your role is a developer , then the must-have plugins will be those that make your work easier - Advanced Custom Fields (preferably Pro), Query Monitor, Laps, etc., or solve typical tasks with little blood - Classic Editor, Disable Comments, Safe SVG , Enable Media Replace and the like. By "little blood" I mean that they have a minimal overhead, do nothing extra and you yourself won't write better anyway. We write everything else ourselves, fork from other developers, tune it to our tasks, and so on - over time we accumulate our own tools.
If your role is an implementer(you collect sites on WP, but you don’t know how to use PHP), then the set of plugins will be different. At this point, fellow implementers will tell you which plugins are important, which ones are needed.
If your role is the owner of the site , who wants to do everything himself, this is closer to the implementers.
If your role is contentto cut, and everything else is secondary - just choose plugins for the desired functionality and always try to keep a simple conclusion in your head - the more fancy the plugin is (more features, more settings, more pages in the admin panel, etc.), the slower it is usually. The more such plugins, the slower the site. Therefore, we try to put only what is absolutely necessary and from the available options for a feature we choose the one that is the most lightweight. Ideally, we test several pieces and choose one.
Now for the goals. What do you want? So that you can quickly assemble a website to test your business idea at minimal cost? This is one kitchen. To have a light and fast content site that can handle serious traffic? This is a different cuisine. Online store? Generally different. What niche is this online store in? Physical goods or digital? Is the market local or international? All this will lead you to a different set of plugins. I think the meaning is already clear.

To facilitate development for complex projects, I use Advanced Custom Fields. I recommend that you get acquainted with the Pro version, which by the way can be downloaded for free on the Internet. This plugin allows you to add flexible, diverse custom fields and display them on the site.
I recommend that you, if you decide to start developing under WordPress, get acquainted with the development of your themes, and then you will not need third-party plugins. You can describe all the functionality in the functions.php of your theme.
