Windows 10 1809 loses PS/2 keyboard, what should I do?
During a clean install of version 1809, the keyboard works, but when the system reboots, it no longer works. Sometimes this happens when updating the system. That is, in version 1803 everything was fine, but as it was updated - everything, there is no keyboard. But sometimes, on some computers, this does not happen.
In the control panel in the field "Devices" - empty. In the device manager - the "Keyboard" section is simply missing. There are no unknown devices. Driver files (i8042prt.sys, kbdclass.sys) are in place. "Install old device" does not give any suitable options. Out of hopelessness, I tried to run a driver pack - he also did not find anything.
What to do?
PS I didn't even think that there were so many captains. Obviousness with an obvious proposal to change the keyboard to USB.

Check the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > i8042prt
If default value is not 1, then correct and restart the computer.
