What PHP lessons for a beginner can you recommend?

I am only familiar with HTML and CSS, but would like to master PHP. Advise good lessons on this language and preferably not boring, because otherwise you can lose interest in this matter altogether.

Koterov's book - Php 5 in the original. Various articles. Come up with some kind of problem and until you find out the solutions, a lot will be postponed.
