Multiple UART interfaces on Raspberry Pi

A question for those who have actively delved into the study of the Raspberry Pi. I have an old microcontroller for partially industrial use. I want to replace all this with a Raspberry Pi board, it has everything I need. Only here is the only limitation: I need at least 2, and preferably 3 independent UART interfaces (RS-232/485). In raspberries, as I understand it, there is only one. Is it possible to use the rest of the GPIO outputs for another UART? Or will you have to make your own expansion board based on MK?

The option in the form of a USB / RS-485 converter is in principle possible, but I would like a more accurate solution, without unnecessary converters. Yes, and USB will be fully involved without it.

I think it is quite possible - only the speed of such a software uart is unlikely to be high.
in my opinion, it is better to use a USB2COM adapter - it will be more reliable.

Malinka also has I2C. And NXP, for example, manufactures Dual UART SC16IS752 or SC16IS762. It won't be hard to write an interface.
