Mssql performance and fault tolerance, there is a task to make a fault-tolerant configuration would it be great if it scaled?
So there is a rather heavily loaded mssql server with about 500 GB of databases, for now it costs mssql2008 with a mirror, there are 2 ideas:
1) make a cluster of virtual machines with storage and push it there, but I haven’t found anywhere how the performance of this server will change if we assume https:/ /yadi.sk/i/w2GG4p5Lhc3qA there are two servers in the cluster, but what happens if you add 3-4? How will performance change, will mssql work faster?
2) Just raise two servers with Mssql, but already 2012 and raise always on
Maybe someone purchased for similar tasks?
