Monitor change?

Tell me if it's worth
changing this LG W2252TQ ( market.yandex.ru/model.xml?modelid=1618733)
to this DELL U2311H ( market.yandex.ru/model.xml?modelid=6195361)

I think it's definitely worth it.
1 - E-IPS matrix is better than TN
2 - FullHD resolution
if the issue is not monetary, then I would change

In terms of color quality, IPS is much better than TN. In terms of response time (for example, in games), it may seem subjectively worse, although in practice 8 ms is quite enough.

In theory, due to the type of matrix, it should be more pleasing to the eye, but as a rule I prefer to go to some large store and see it live. Reviews for picture quality are positive, some say that heaven and earth, when compared with TN. In general, when choosing a monitor, you need to talk about its purpose, in order to understand what parameters are important, maybe someone will advise more interesting models.

I have the same Dell.
It makes sense to change if they don’t confuse:
1. Small pixel (fonts on many sites look small)
2. Proportions 16:9 instead of 16:10 (this is a cinematic format, I would still prefer the second option for work)
Otherwise, the monitor is excellent, especially for its price.

My recent experience with Dell monitors completely disappointed me: a defective U2711, two defective U2410. Finally getting a working U2711, I was shocked to see incorrect colors (namely a green tint) and screen flickering on the standard monitor settings for 700 euros.
After a long search, I bought a 27" monitor from Apple - lovely!

If it's not about money, it's worth it. I would even change to U2211H.

No comment, I agree with the answers above, but if, for example, you are engaged in photography and printing, then I would advise an older model, and take a closer look at NEC monitors

And pay attention to the difference in the form factor: the original monitor has 16 × 10, the new one has 16 × 9 , i.e. it is even more stretched horizontally - weigh whether it will be convenient for you.

The transition is nothing, there is no point in migration.

I have viewsonic vp2365wb. The matrix is the same as in the dell U2311H. I strongly advise you to change TN to eIPS. This is a decent model for home use.

And what is the sacramental meaning of buying Dell, not NEC?

@coolfly

Take a closer look at this ViewSonic VP2365wb ( market.yandex.ru/model.xml?modelid=6023173&hid=91052&text=vp2365wb&srnum=2 ), it has the same matrix as the DELL U2311H, only it costs less.
