Missing .gvfs in Ubuntu and not VIM, not Sublime Text 2 can't open the file?

When working in the ST2 editor (ubuntu 12.04) via FTP, the file was suddenly not saved. Through gedit everything works as it should. Checked in VIM does not open. I checked the .gvfs folder - but it's not there). How to restore everything?
