Mischief uses Adaptively Sampled Distance Fields technology, and the bitmap files that it exports are actually user-selected pieces of an infinite canvas on which to draw.

This is a raster editor. It is clear from the file formats that the editor saves and exports - only PNG, JPG, PSD. All of these are raster formats.
