Mining on old hardware with new graphics cards?

Good afternoon. The question is. There are a couple of computers. Old ones for 2 Duo, 4GB. Is it worth buying 1070 cards for them, for mining for the first time? Or immediately get confused and build a PC for mining. As far as I understand, the processor and the amount of RAM are not very critical for mining. How critical will the speed loss be?

And what else does it make sense to collect 1-2 computers for mining? Complexity and Chinese farms do not interfere?

It will be extremely difficult to mine soon even on video cards in a plus. If you're serious, google for the future of ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits).

Prots and memory - to the side. The main thing is that the x64 system starts up - many miners require only x64.
And do not forget about the power supply - you need a fairly high-quality one. Often problems arise precisely because of it, and not overheating, crooked drivers, and so on.
