Mikrotik RB751U-2HnD (RouterOS v6.18), USB Flash connected. Why won't it let you connect via SMB?
I am connected via LAN from a computer under Windows 8.1. SMB service on Mikrotik - configured. The file on the flash drive is thrown. When you try to open it, a window opens asking you to enter a password. None of the combinations work. Somewhere I met the info that supposedly Mikrotik works fine with SMB 2.0, but with 3.0, like in Windows 8.1, it can’t work. Is it really? Someone tried Vin8.1 with Mikrotik?
I found this little article from MelkoSoft:
support.microsoft.com/kb/2686098
But alas, these commands do not work on Win8.1 .... Can anyone help?
PYSY. I connected via Wi-Fi from Android and went to the flash drive without any problems ....
