McConnell relevance?

Good afternoon everyone. I thought about taking McConnell's Perfect Code, but it's somewhat embarrassing that the book is already very old, and progress does not stand still, so the question is how relevant and applicable to modern realities is what McConnell wrote in his book in his time?

There are concepts that do not change. It is unlikely that the book on mathematics of 1980 can be considered outdated.. Also, the Perfect Code is not nearly outdated, it is still missing;)
