Maxview does not see the controller on vmware why?

There is a server on which vmware is installed, 5 raid is mounted to it from another server, so on the server where vmware is installed there are two ssd disks that should be used as a cache for the raid. To do this, I installed adapteca vib files on vmWare. I installed MAXVIEW on the guest OS and I tell it to connect to the host (vmware), it says that it does not see it. The question is why?
