Maximum length and allowed characters in personal data fields (first name, last name, etc.)?

I'm making a form where the user will need to enter their personal data. You need to understand what minimum and maximum field lengths you need to require / allow for each field (first name, last name, patronymic, who issued the passport, place of birth, city, street, house, apartment of registration address) and what characters are allowed in them.
Where can such information be obtained? Or, maybe, who did a similar form and can share such information?

My advice to you: let the user make a mistake. Do not limit his ability to enter the data that he wants. The goal of most projects is profit. Give a chance to pay you, even if not all data will correspond to the format you need.

Everything is very simple.
It is believed that the longest one-component surname in the world is carried by one resident of the city of Istanbul: it has 43 letters. This is what this surname looks like if you write it in Russian: AIYILTSIKLIKIRMITSIBAYRAKTASIYANKAGRAMANOGLU.
Longest name: Rhoshandiatellyneshiaunneveshenk
And so on.

no more than 50 I think the restriction is enough. You should not put a minimum length on the surname, since some have a surname of 1 letter (the witness himself)

The minimum is 255 characters. Without strict validation (except for soap / password / captcha) Do you signal in yellow that the form is probably entered incorrectly.
