Manjaro on desktop?

I want to transfer a working machine to Linux (more convenient for project needs). I have been using Ubuntu for many years at home. I don’t really like to poke around in the system, the system itself is stable for me and does not require special attention, but there are drawbacks:
1. Periodically you need to update or reinstall (when the LTS release support period ends)
2. Over time, the software becomes obsolete, but I would like to have the latest / current versions.
There was a long experience of using Arch, I liked everything except that you need to monitor the system, read the news of updates, track changes, periodically edit something by hand. Unfortunately, on a working computer, this is an unaffordable luxury.
I have been eyeing Manjaro for a long time: Arch-based with its own repositories, rolling release (the main advantage for me), more or less recent software versions, AUR. At home, unfortunately, I can’t try it in any way, so I ask for your opinion - how stable is it for everyday work? Is it possible to install it and be calm (at least 99%) that tomorrow after the next update I will not need to urgently fix something in order to boot?
I ask to share experience of those who use this distribution kit constantly.
Thank you.

I don't use Manjaro, but have also considered this distribution.
They have an update announcement section on their forum ( https://forum.manjaro.org/c/announcements/stable-u... - for the stable branch), and at the end of each announcement there is a poll for users on how the update went. Typically, 93-95% of users have no problems (with a sample of 200-450 users), 2-4% have minor problems that they solved on their own, and 2-3% need community help.
However, periodically there are updates in which 20-40% of users encounter problems. To minimize this risk (unfortunately, it cannot be completely ruled out), it is necessary to read announcements on the forum before updating - they usually indicate possible problems and solutions. That's the price you pay for being able to use the latest software :-)

Over 6 years on Arch, last 2 on Manjaro xfce. Passed out of curiosity, and left it that way. I don't remember any problems with stability, even the recent rather serious full update of xfce went perfectly. Very amateur design from the developers, but this is not a problem.

everything is ambiguous, I myself prefer manjara to ubuntu, it works faster, the software is always fresh. regarding stability, please note that Manjaro has its own stable and testing branches, i.e. what was included in arch stable, here at most will be in testing for the first time, home users sit on this branch, of course, only stable should be installed on jobs

In general, for many years I have not understood the approach "we install older packages, but they are of the stable type", when you can, on the contrary, be updated every day, automatically be aware of the new and live for today, and not yesterday (or even last year, as in ubuntu often).

I don't like messing around with the system.

And the answer to your question, by the way, is also in your own post.
