Make htc desire and GPRS friends from MTS Ukraine?

Probably the question is not quite on Habr, but I honestly googled, Yandexl, read the manual on the offsite and called support, nothing helped ...
The situation is this: there is an HTC Desire with the official android 2.2 firmware, I bought the phone in Prague, if it matters , tariff "super mts + sms", prepayment. There are 2 items in the APN settings: for mms and gprs. Opposite the Internet access point there was a checkbox, now it is gone. An APN point can only be added, not deleted. I tried to register the connection settings, as indicated on the MTS website (in fact, only the connection name and the APN name are entered there) - when I try to connect, I get "Connection failed". I called the operator, the girl said that the settings on the site were not relevant and offered to enter others:
connection name = “MTS NET GPRS”,
APN = “ www.umc.ua",
authentication = "CHAP",
APN type = " www.umc.ua ".
But with the new settings it still does not connect, the problem is the same.
Tell me, is it possible to use mts gprs on desire? How to bypass the rake?

Here I found all the settings.
And restart your phone after entering all the settings. I have earned.

My designer himself grabbed an ass cutter from mts.
True, the design on the asshole is a tin. Especially with Ukrainian prices.

APN type is default, authorization is not. And everything worked.
