Good afternoon! On Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, I'm building the msgpuck-master package. Error 1 make[1]:
*** [test /CMakeFiles/msgpuck.test.dir/all] Error 2 I understand that it is running some tests to check the work. Before that, I built the Tarantool database, had the same problem, was solved by the make server command (not the fact that the solution was correct, but so far everything works).

The make command doesn't build packages if so. She performs the tasks that she is assigned, and this can be anything - compiling a program, copying a database, calling Cthulhu, capturing the world :)
In this case, there were problems with compiling the msgpuck.c file, that is, with completing the task of obtaining the .o file from the .c file. You need to look at the logs in more detail.
