I need to install a mail server on win server 2012 that can receive and send out, but unfortunately I don’t know how to do it, my server is the site server, and the mail server is needed specifically for the site.

On Windows? How many boxes should there be? If 5 is enough, then you can CommuniGate Pro. Those. if necessary for technical needs. If you need more, then there is already a fee (although the system itself is generally tailored to work with tens of thousands of boxes, but it will do just fine with the 5th). Plus, it's very lightweight and works essentially without installation.
About ekschendzh I am silent. If you need a lot of mailboxes and for free, I would recommend using Linux.
