It's very annoying that you can't open a link in a new tab without resorting to the Cmd + tap combination on the screen.
Is it possible somehow to program the touchpad so that it opens a link in a new tab, for example, after three clicks?

magicprefs.com is a free program for adding advanced features to Magic Mouse, Magic Touchpad and MacBook touchpad.
On the mouse, it was easy to set up a click with the middle button with its help. There is no touchpad, but in theory they can also be easily configured.

what about right click -> open in new window?
I have this touch with two fingers. Very comfortably.
