Macbook Pro 13 Late 2011 - SMC issue?
Good day. I'll refresh my memory a little and share the problem itself - Macbook PRO 13 Late 2011 - Why does it slow down when running on battery power? . After some time of torment, I nevertheless decided to get used to the problem. However, yesterday, quite by accident, I stumbled upon a table of SMC versions of all MacBook series, respectively, my model was on the list, I checked the data and as it turned out, my SMC version is not correct, according to official sources - 1.68F98, I have 1.68F99. the firmware file itself was on the Apple website, but is not currently available. I found a lot of topics on the Internet on this problem, there are two solutions everywhere - replacing the multicontroller, flashing through the rEFInd terminal. I therefore chose the second option so far, I wanted to know if anyone came across? I found the procedure on Habré, but for the 2010 model
PS The reason for changing the firmware, as shown by the search results, is updating to a new OS X, rolling back does not help.
