Good afternoon!
With 8GB it was 512MB, with 16GB there were 512... The question is, is it possible to achieve the result of Pro'shek at the beginning of 2012. programmatically, which gives out 1GB with 16GB of RAM?

although this does not quite answer the question :( but judging by the comments - it is impossible
