Is it enough for layout for the first time?

I want to take a used macbook about 2011 to get acquainted with macos and check it for about six months, then I’ll buy a 2016 firmware with a retina.
Here are the characteristics of the
CPU: i7 2 Hz
Ram: 8 GB
Vidyuha: AMD Radeon HD 6490M
HDD: 500 GB
I will mainly use webstorm and avacode and two or three tabs in the browser, will it cope with these tasks without glitches?

More than enough. The only thing I would put SSD instead of HDD.
