Macbook pro 13 128 or 256. What to choose?

1375$ i5+8gb+128 - 13"
1500$ i5+8gb+256 - 13"
1750$ i5+16gb+128 - 13"
2050$ i7+16gb+256 - 15"
Above the price for the bundle,
I actually do backend and a little frontend PHP
bundle phpstorm + chrome + local server (mostly)
I want to take a laptop to replace my computer so that I have mobility (often I travel with my wife and child + to customers)
I don’t have extra money, as they say) ) I take a laptop
with the calculation of a tax refund - 23% (in Poland)
Now on Windows I have 128 ssd - free 60 (despite the fact that all projects are on it)
According to tests, 256 write speed is 2 times higher than that of 128 - is it noticeable?
For example, 8 GB is clear that back to back - that is, it will use swap - that is, write to disk - will 256 be more noticeable faster?
16 GB is already expensive - it's not at all clear why 256 + $ 120 and damn it 16 GB + 350)))
Thank you

If you take now to work for several years - 8GB is definitely not enough. It's not something to skimp on. Swap on a macbook with a retina screen is very noticeable. The laptop starts to noticeably warm up and lag. On Air it is not so pronounced, but also noticeable. I advise you to take a 16GB, 256 disk, the processor is unlikely to be important, there is still a Core i7 dual-core on a 13 "model, it is not much more powerful than an i5. I have 8GB and always use 2-4GB of swap, these are: browsers with about two dozen tabs , a couple of idea windows, Telegram, and several terminal windows + small software that does not take up much memory.8 GB today is the minimum for work, if there is no money at all or the computer was bought several years ago. Naturally, we are talking about comfortable work in ideal conditions. Those who say that they don’t slow down usually turn out to be " if with free RAM, pressing the button and the action will be almost instantaneous, then with a shortage and working with a swap, there may be a lag of 0.5-1-2 seconds at some points. But why endure it if quite a lot of money is spent on a serious instrument? This is not a place to save money. if with free RAM, pressing the button and the action will be almost instantaneous, then with a shortage and working with a swap, there may be a lag of 0.5-1-2 seconds at some points. The RAM is soldered on the board, only 4 chips give either 8 or 16 GB. Don't increase it on your own. Chips are expensive $45 retail price of one 4GB chip in China. You can solder in the conditions of the service, but it will cost more than initially buying from 16.
I don’t know where you look at the prices, and why the difference is $ 350 (maybe the processors are still different there?), If you select + 16GB memory on the Russian configurator, then surcharge +14000. And it's definitely worth it to overpay for 16GB. The disk can be replaced in the future on your own, but of course they are also not cheap, more expensive than $ 120 (in Russian, by the way, also + 14,000 for 256). The old disk can be sold to someone.

The second one is enough.
128 is not enough, 256 is just right.

If the disk is enough for 128, then take the first one. You can also use Firefox instead of Chrome, it uses much less RAM if you don’t watch the video in it.
In general, why Mac, they ruined the new models of 2017, there is no Magsafe, there are no normal connectors, so if you take the 2016 model.
If there is no particular need for software specifically for Mac, it is better to take something like Dell XPS or HP Envy or something else. Install Ubuntu and it will be no worse than a Macbook.

take all the money you can spend.
this is the desire to save a small amount, when you are already spending a large one - it almost always goes sideways)
this is the main working tool that you take for several years ... the money saved will scatter instantly into turnover, don’t you notice.
on the topic - 8-256 is a great option. I use this one, but I'm an iOS developer. enough for everything. 128 is not necessary. just don't. it is unnecessary to choose so back to back in our rapidly developing world. today you have enough, tomorrow it will stop. if you want to put something heavy, the same Windows in the bootcamp - and a pitchfork. collective farming with flash drives and jetdrives will begin, why ...
