MacBook Air 13 (8gb) VS MacBook Pro 13 retina, hardware questions?
Hello! I am faced with a dilemma, choose MacBook Air 13 (8gb) or MacBook Pro 13 retina (both have the minimum possible hardware, except for 8gb for Air), namely:
I wanted to know the real state of affairs about:
1. How much more powerful is the pro processor , compared to air, not in tests, but live (how much is it really noticeable)?
2. How much more noticeable is the difference between video cards (modules)?
3. What else can be "really" noticeable in hardware, what is the difference between Pro and Air (in the specified configuration)?
4. Is it worth overpaying for pro 6000r, based on the three points above ..?
The real-minimum cost of Air is 46,500 rubles / Pro 52,500 rubles (at the time of writing).
And one more question: The Pro has 2 Thunderbolt 2 ports, does that mean I can connect 2 external monitors/2 different desktops at the same time?

Take a retina anyway.
I worked for a year on air in the minimum configuration (4-128), then changed to pro (4-128, 2013, retina).
1. Subjectively - smarter, I didn’t measure it on tests.
2. Pro better displays a picture on 24-inchers (also subjective), photoshop and illustrator on large files are also faster.
3. It's difficult here. Only according to the general feeling, pro is ahead, but not so much that later air is considered to be an old brake dinosaur.
4. It is worth overpaying even just for the retina, not to mention the pluses above. At work, most of the time I work with texts, less - with graphics. The difference is quite noticeable.
The only downside is that air runs a bit longer on battery. But it is understandable.
I can’t say anything about monitors and desktops, I use only one external 24.
For the retina.
I also thought for a long time what to take in the end I took Proshka 13 (866 model).
The presence of additional ports played a role. By autonomy, I have enough for a working day - surfing, remote work, 1 virtual machine is always running. Turn off Flash. Retina is heaven and earth, especially with text.
