Is it possible to install an unsupported processor using a BIOS update?

Will it be possible to install the Q-6400-Q-9400 processor on this ASUS P5V-X SE motherboard using a BIOS update if the manufacturer's website says that the processor is not supported ???
The socket is on both the motherboard and the processor 775.
