My video card is dying. There was a similar problem on the red vidyuhi a few years ago. Worked flawlessly and suddenly started acting weird. I cleaned the cooler once, changed the thermal paste twice, changed the PSU three times - black screens and reboots became more and more stable. Sometimes after them it was necessary to rearrange the firewood, and the settings after the reboot (normal) were not saved. It ended up that the vidyukha stopped responding altogether: the cooler started up and that's it. They advised me to warm it up, but I don’t know how to use hair dryers and ovens. So I just changed it and everything went away.
UPD. Well, yes, for starters and diagnostics, try replacing the signal cable with DVI-DVI without adapters or DVI-VGA. And exclude the hanging / discharge of the vidyuhi in the slot on the motherboard
More likely - just problems with iron, such as overheating of the video or processor, or insufficiency of the power supply, it is not enough at some peak moment and cuts everything down.
The second option is unstable drivers (video card drivers). But this is less likely.
Clean the vidyuhi cooler normally and (if possible) replace the thermal paste.
The problem is overheating vidyuhi with a probability of 70%.
