Macbook 13 M1 Which one to choose?
Hello, I need your advice.
I am engaged in frontend development, the question arose of which Mac to buy, I write a work script in JavaScript + react / Vue several projects in a stream + 15-20 tabs in chrome in the future I plan to study Backend, I do not mount videos.
MacBook Air 8/512 ~ 1220$
MacBook Air 16/256 ~ 1400$
or with a reserve for the future to pay extra and take the
MacBook Pro 13 8/512 ~ 1420$
16/256~ 1700$ costs over dofiga budget does not allow (Budget up to 1500 $)
Is 8 GB of RAM enough?
I have a doubt that there is no cooling system in the air, it will not troll. If I buy Air, I won’t regret it in the future (I take a laptop for ~ 5-6 years in advance)
Or instead of Air 16/256, take Pro 8/256 and don’t take a steam bath?
What do you recommend)

I took a basic Proshka 16 inches, I've been using it for more than a month, I'm happy as an elephant.
Since I work on several projects - I decided to try to keep all windows open (sublime, idea, mongo, postman, several tabbed chrome windows). Bottom line - the cooler does not even turn on.
I took a laptop with a margin, so as not to feel a lack of performance for 5-6 years, you seem to have similar goals. I don't regret paying for it at all. Another of the pluses is a larger screen diagonal, an increased battery and (purely subjective) chic speakers.
I also considered buying air for 16GB of RAM, but then I decided to pay extra and did not lose. I advise you to think seriously too, maybe it makes sense to save up for a month or two and take a more expensive solution, but be sure that it will definitely be enough for all your needs and wishes
MacBook Air 16/256, 8 is very small, especially if you are coding in Jetbrain apps
Well, it seems to me that the answer is obvious, if you work in a browser and have many tabs open, then it is better to choose where there is more RAM than ROM. Why exactly a laptop from an apple company, and not a solution with Windows? Just for that kind of money you can buy a good solution on Windows.
MacBook Pro 13 16/512 - for 150k (there are $1500 you will find a couple of hundred more $ - if you really need an apple)
Or an example on intel Evo: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7: Full HD (1920x1080), IPS, Intel Core i5 1135G7, 4 cores x 2.4 GHz, RAM 16 GB, SSD 512 GB, Intel Iris Xe Graphics - 85k - the most for your tasks (I have such a device - I'm completely satisfied - I open hundreds of tabs in the browser)
If you need docker at work (and you definitely need it), then your choice is pro and 64gb operational.
Well, 32 is the bare minimum.
In addition, with a perspective of 5 years.
