Mac for layout designer?

I have 150k available, on a PC, I'm currently studying to be a designer and would like to connect my life with layout, but the question arose about choosing hardware. Now i5-3570K, 8gb OP, ssd 250gb, hdd 1tb, gtx 970 4gb and deshman's mother are available)
At first, the first thought was to buy a poppy, but then I started to figure it out and thought, why not improve this one?
I need your help) and your experience)

You did not specify which designer you are studying?
For example, Photoshop is poorly adapted to 13ku and there will be categorically little space, adobe does not allow you to compress a lot of panels and they occupy 1/3 of the working area.
Your budget should be enough for the "gray" (import method) minimum configuration 15ki 18, it is very powerful, good screen. Cooling problems that are now walking around the network - only with i9 on board, i7 works perfectly!
Even if you don’t want categorically 15k, take 13k of the 18th year with a touchbar, there are 4-core processors (until 2018 there were always 2-core processors on 13k and you had to pay extra for 4-core). Now, according to tests, 13ka 18th year is more powerful than my 15th 16th year! So in terms of iron, you definitely won’t lose.
Do not listen to anyone, if there is an opportunity to take a Mac, then you will not find a better analogue. 3 years ago, after 5 years of working with a poppy, I tried all 8 top models at the end of the 15th - the middle of the 16th year, there is no analogue. Especially on the screen, because in addition to the technical characteristics (which everyone compares), setup and assembly are an important factor, poppies do not suffer from precepts, screens have been 8 years old without PWM, and especially coding on it is a pleasure (eyes do not get tired, beautiful smoothed fonts - therefore I don’t understand comments especially like: why a poppy encoder?).

Throw another 8GB of RAM into the current computer and this will be more than enough to work for the next 3-5 years.

1. For the MacOS designer, IMHO, a must have.
2. 13 inches for comfortable operation is small.
3. If mobility is not important, then it is better to take a 15-inch model + 1 or 2 external monitors.
4. Does a layout designer need a Mac Book, an incorrect question. Here it is more correct to ask about the recommended characteristics of a computer for layout. Your current layout machine is fine.

I agree with the answer Anton Spirin , I will add on my own.
Question - what do you now do not like in your car? Mobility? Pop, beauty? Soft? Iron?
If we talk about software:
As a layout designer, you have tools on Windows - figma/photoshop.
On a Mac, Sketch will be added to you.
If we talk about the environment, then the main PHPStorm is on both Mac and Windows. Environment issues are also addressed.
Now all hardware works quickly and without lags. Understand it.
But, how long have you been sitting at the computer and just getting high from work? From the operation of the keys, from the display screen with normal colors, and from which the eyes do not hurt? From a laptop that you don't need to use a mouse with because the touchpad is the best in the world? Window changing system, when you can work on two desktops in parallel by swiping them on the touchpad? It cannot be explained, but once you try it, you will prefer a more expensive, but macbook.
I have been using a Mac since 2012 (the version is not retina yet), since 2014 Macbook has replaced my workstation. Well, I have a lot of friends since that time, on my advice, they moved to a poppy, and they do not regret it.
I only advise you to take it with additional graphics and 15". This is a must.

So they are different professions. For a MAC designer, that's it. It is doubtful for a typesetter, although if you combine design and layout, it is probably justified. Expensive, irrational, but not as strange as for a php developer, for example.
Personally, I would take a stationary computer + widescreen display. And left the MAC to those who want to stand out or have n * 150k money or designers with a capital PI. I do not recommend you if you need to get a maximum of 150k - apple should be the last brand on the list.
