Mac development?
Good afternoon!
When programming, I often use the keys Home, End, Ctrl+Home (to the beginning of the file), Ctrl+End (to the end of the file), Shift+Home/Shift+End (select text in a line from the cursor to the beginning/end of the line
) on a laptop (in mobile conditions), at home in a stationary place, a 24 "1920 * 1200 monitor, an external mini-keyboard.
The Toshiba L735-11e laptop has the following keyboard:
In the near future, it is planned to upgrade the laptop to a MacBook Pro13.
The keyboard in a laptop is an important criterion in filtering candidates for the role of the next laptop.Same with this MacBook - I really don’t like the keyboard due to the lack of separate Home, End, PgUP, PgDown keys. The functions of these keys through the joint pressing of Fn + arrow is not very welcome.
I noticed another noticeable minus - the absence of a separate Del key.
Question to programmers, owners of poppies, how did you solve these issues? Was it hard to switch from a regular PC to a Mac?
Of the programs PhpStorm, SQLyog, TotalCommander are used. Are there any normal analogues of SQLyog and GUI file manager for MacOS?

Here's another hint if you use Terminal.app: you can put the cursor anywhere in the line by clicking with the alt key pressed.
Home - Cmd+Left
End - Cmd+Right
Ctrl+Home - Cmd+Up
Ctrl+End - Cmd+Down
Shift+Home/Shift+End - Cmd+Left,Shift+Cmd+Right
For Mac, instead of sqlyog, there is www.sequelpro.com
You get used to the keyboard very quickly, especially if you learn shortcuts (for example, here ).
Of the file managers, probably the best is forklift (or there is also a good pathfinder ).
Midnight Commander is a great file manager.
You get used to the Mac clave just instantly (after a month of using the Mac, the PC keyboard seemed terribly uncomfortable), the necessary software is also found quickly enough, since the share of makosi is growing and many developers and companies make versions of their programs for it.
Most popular alternative file managers:

binarynights.com/forklift/
I solved the problem with Delete radically: I stopped using Delete (you can get used to anything in a couple of weeks).
The standard Finder file manager is quite convenient, I have been using it for 5 years - I have never thought of switching to something else.
www.mucommander.com A file manager
and so most programs are cross-platform.
