Low voltage in usb ports macbook pro (2012). Where to dig?
Hello
While working with the ARDUINO board (it was connected to the MacBook via USB) and the SD driver (connected to the ARDUINO and to an external 24V power source), something happened ....
I assume that one of the boards touched the solder side to the metal parts.
MacBook has rebooted. ARDUINO shut down. When voltage is applied, it shines with all LEDs and does not respond to anything (to hell with it)
Not a single USB port works on the MacBook.
One port has a constant voltage of 2.6 volts.
on the second - no load 5V. As soon as you connect something, the voltage drops to 3.2 volts. Naturally, no device is defined.
I tried resetting the SMC in all ways - it did not help.
I did a full diagnostic with a standard utility, no problems were found.
At the same time, I am looking for what to do with it. but maybe someone who knows will tell ....
Thank you

99% burnout of the USB controller or its strapping. It is treated by replacing elements with working ones.
Once a friend connected an iPhone with a broken cable to a MacBook, the Mac immediately went out and no longer responded to the on button. nutrition. I thought it was already in repair, but I unscrewed the bottom cover, disconnected the cable from the battery and turned it on again and it all worked. I don't think it will help your problem, but still...
the power of the ports burned out 90%, there is a separate mikrushka for this
