Looking for the right plugin for your culinary website?

There is a Recipe module , I decided to use it for the site, but I ran into a problem that the ingredients are stored in a separate table in the database, instead of being stored in taxonomy terms. There is this problem on the module page, but there was no clear answer to its solution. Maybe someone knows a similar module for cooking?
I am new to Drupal, if you have any suggestions for solving the issue with the Recipe module, write to Skype.

@archelon

what is so unique about this module?
if it does not suit you, why not make your own solution based on the basic functionality of Drupal?
fields, taxonomy, entity reference, ...
