If the domain is registered in reg.ru, then you can get DNS for free + have a management API: 8. Functions for managing the DNS zone (zone category) . I won’t say the only thing about secondaries, because I haven’t used it, because why is it under such excellent conditions.

In general, yes, a similar question sometimes pops up, but usually not before it is resolved, and therefore we use what we have.

Well, in the case of reg.ru, the issue of fuckup in the DC is solved, but there are still such opportunities for failures as crooked hands of admins, ddos dns servers, just political problems of the company ...
For example:
recently, almost all Yandex DCs lay down for several hours
, the mchost company ceased to exist without warning
etc. .
In such cases, moving the secondary to another company and geographically moving away from the primary helps, which is what we are striving for. :)

I have been using Masterhost as DNS hosting for 5 years already, until January there were no complaints at all. In January, something broke a couple of times. About 20 names are hosted, almost for free. The interface is quite user-friendly. Secondary in my opinion only through support, the zone is updated in 30-40 minutes.
