What literature to read on setting up dns for a site?
Hello,
all the time when setting up a new domain for a site, I doubt it.
In many textbooks on site building, they write about everything, but not about setting up dns, A-records.
I want to put an end to doubt once and for all.
Please tell me the literature, so that again from 0 they painted what and how to prescribe, otherwise I doubt it.
I am looking for some resource in which they will write everything from a to z and with simple examples.
Help please.

In books. which I read in paper versions, at most 2 pages, well, sometimes 10, very rarely 30. There is nothing super smart THERE. There is plenty of everything on the internet.
The basic principle of DNS is to convert a name to an ip address and vice versa (providers are responsible for this). Moreover, you have a simplified case: no mail, no DNS server.
Want to understand how DNS works: Create at home (at work) 2 sites on a 3rd level domain. To simplify the task: host1.domen1.localdomain.loc and host1.domen2.localdomain.loc. Preferably not on the same machine. Here the brains boil)))
