Ubuntu 17.04 no external addresses available?

Ubuntu Server 17.04 is running in VirtualBox on Win7. The PC is connected to the company network. In Ubuntu, I can ping intranet resources, but the same ya.ru no longer works.
I read somewhere that this is due to the DNS settings or something like that.

All solutions related to dnsmasq do not help.
UPD1: adding the http_proxy line to /etc/environment doesn't help either.

in your case it's not dns. deal with routing and the router, since it does not let traffic out.

in /etc/resolv.conf nameserver
8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

If the second command displays the IP address, then google how to register dns in ubuntu. start here , in 17.04 they changed the network infrastructure, so it's a little different there, but the machine is not at hand
