How to set a DNS mask with exceptions?
Hello.
How to add A-records correctly so that some specific addresses go to one IP, and all the rest to another?
For example, for test1.example.com, test2.exmaple.com the IP is 192.168.0.1, and for any others in exapmle.com 192.168.0.2.

test1.example.com 3600 A 192.168.0.1
test2.example.com 3600 A 192.168.0.1
*.example.com 3600 A 192.168.0.2
Level 3 domains, that all work on 192.168.0.2, but none on 192.168.0.1. DNS does not see them. Answers of any ping, nslookup, dig, etc. about the bottom: Name or service not known; server can't find etc. IP responds, names don't.
DNS management is not on your own server, but in a hosting company.
Where to dig?
UPD:
In general, the hosting did a trick. Question removed.
