Logo design. Coincidence or plagiarism?

From time to time I draw logos for myself and all the like on trifles.
The idea for the current logo first came to my mind, and then it began to remind me of a famous brand.
The name of the project starts with F, and I chose blue-violet as the main colors.
I decided not to be smart, but to play with a solid color \ gradient with the letter F.
But as you guessed, it painfully resembles Facebook with its logo.
Is it worth it to turn on the fantasy further, and come up with something else or implement the original one?
What can happen in the future if I still implement my first idea for the logo?
(the color code is not 1:1, and not even very close, just about the same palette, due to the "similarity" of playing with "F" there may be confusion)
As for me, it's about like Adidas and some kind of Abibas turns out.

There is a theory that a person is not able to come up with something radically new. Everything that we "create" is only a rethinking of what is already in nature.
Perhaps you really went through the same logical (or whatever the designers have for the place of logic) path as the creator of the fb logo, or perhaps he (the logo) was just sitting in your head and as soon as he began to think about what to do with the letter F, your brain instantly issued nearest association.
So this is more of a philosophical question and only you can answer it yourself) and it is quite possible to use such a logo, unless it is just another social network, then there may be problems.
