Help me decide, everything is very bad, it's impossible to work on Alt Linux, it's some kind of dinosaur in the Linux world

I installed x11vnc (view control) on Linux Mint in one organization and configured it manually, although it can be done remotely with a script.
Practice shows that "out of the box" solutions are not always what you need.

If the school is not checked, then install windows xp and do not tell anyone that something has been changed somewhere, reinstalled, etc. otherwise it might be bad.
You can try react os - first, at home on windows in a virtual machine, check all the necessary programs and if everything is fine, then install it. React os - essentially free windows xp, only programs are not yet running, but many work, Office 2007 seems to work without problems.
But to be honest, I am for the legalization of pirated software for hospitals, schools and in general in Russia :)
