Linux sound card driver

There is a computer with installed Mandriva 2011 and connected keyboard with built-in sound card (A4tech Kip 800). The OS point-blank does not want to notice the sound and hangs it in the list of unknown devices (C-media USB Headset). Searching Google did not lead to anything, on the Simmedia website there is only firewood for Windows, on thematic sites there is a clause that this company supports Linux, but these links do not lead anywhere, although there are sound cards from this company even in the description of libalsa - the question is how to start a sound system ?

I close the topic - in short, Linux bugs + my not knowing, libalsa sees everything perfectly and uses it, just for some reason the mandriva itself placed the sound system in the list of unknown devices. And the problems were because of pulseaudio - throw it out and everything is bad.

First, update the kernel. If it does not work, then assemble it with the sound card module by hand.
