Linux - is there a filesystem with history/changelog?

Is there such a thing in nature? Speed is secondary. I would like to be able to see when and what changes were made. And the ability to restore the old version.
I know that it is possible to pick up Jackrabbit and mount it via Webdav. Isn't there an easier solution?

Recently there was news about Tux3. Its previous version seems to be exactly how stable it should be.
"The Tux3 file system belongs to the versioned class, i.e. allowing you to return to the state of the file system at a certain point in time in the past"
