What program do you use to compress and convert images in Ubuntu?
On Windows, I used the FastStone Image Viewer, which has some very handy image compression. I need a program for Ubuntu, so that there is support for compression and conversion of png, jpeg, so that the program is not slow-witted, ideally with the ability to batch process images.

I am using imgo . It compresses well, but not fast, because it iterates over compression algorithms and uses the best one. And for converting, resizing and other processing - ImageMagick, which has already been suggested.

Gwenview is a complete replacement for faston. There is a good group processing (it seems to be set separately)
Many thanks to everyone for the answers, ImageMagick turned out to be the most optimal solution for me. While reading about it, I came across some good articles: Efficient image resizing with ... and ImageMagick or how to compress images in Linux OS
