Linux for gaming, Are there any add-ons needed?

Always used for windows games. But today I found out that the games that I play have long been ported to Linux.
Google says that they say that in linux games are already ~ 20% more productive.
In general, I installed CS:GO, and CS 1.6. Started up and works great. But they still lag a little with sudden movements.
Actually the question is:
What needs to be added so that the game does not lag? Can any libraries deliver? Climb into the configs? Who dealt with this, tell me where to dig.
System: Linux Manjaro (Based on Arch)
By the way, I did not install video drivers from the manufacturer. I use the ones in the box.

I recently decided to switch from Windows to Linux.
The last thing that stopped it was DiabloIII and StarcraftII.
I installed LinuxMint, installed PlayOnLinux, chose to install DiabloIII there, then followed the instructions, and everything that needed to be pulled up by itself.
The video driver also left the standard.
And everything works.
Arch also has playonlinux. Worth a try.

Buy yourself a game console and play!
Why try to turn a general purpose operating system into gaming firmware?

First of all, it is worth installing drivers for the video card from the manufacturer. Steam, even at startup, somehow recommended that I download Nvidia.
