Lightweight websockets testing tool?

Dear colleagues! I have an interesting question. I want to test the work of sockets on the server, but I don’t have time to write a lot when I don’t have time for SockJs. Do you have in mind tools through which it is easy to work with the STMOP protocol? The server application was written in Java + Spring MVC. I would be very grateful.

I understand that you need to test how the server application works using WS. I would advise you to look towards Jasmine and write some acceptance tests to control the operation of WS. i am using Jasmine-Node for REST API acceptance testing
