Licensing. Apache License

Tell me about licensing,

there is a library under the apache license, I took 1 class method from there, essentially rewrote it for my needs, how can I now correctly indicate whether it is necessary to fully describe all the changes, or you can just write something a la “The library codes are used like this -then. Modified"?

It would be interesting to see real examples

Depending on what “essentially” means, if the result can be described as “Inspired by %libraryName%” - you can not specify anything at all.
If only an algorithm that is not unique for this program is taken from the method, you can also leave nothing out.
If it is based on the library code - depending on the license. For Apache 2.0, you just need to mark the files that have had changes:

You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices stating that You changed the files;
And all patent/copyright notices, etc., must be retained. + attach license. For Apache prior to 2.0, tagging files is optional.
