Letters do not come and do not recover through the web version of Outlook, the reasons?

Good afternoon!
I just decided to try Outlook in the browser. it seems to be free, connected 2 boxes, but letters do not come or go from any of them. I checked the settings - there are no restrictions, nothing in spam either.
Suspecting that I didn’t understand something, is the web version generally workable?
